Is there any way for the huggily-inclined to co-exist peacefully with the non-huggy? I tried to answer these questions in a recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/09\/28\/fashion\/the-bro-hug-embracing-a-change-in-custom.html?_r=0\">New York Times column<\/a>. Afterwards, I got to talk about it on the excellent <a href=\"http:\/\/wnpr.org\/post\/warning-scramble-will-automatically-download-your-itunes\">Colin McEnroe Show<\/a> (I&#8217;m on at about the 38:37 mark).<\/p>\n<p>-Recent news reports suggested that the popularity of kale is leading to a shortage of everyone&#8217;s favorite cruciferous veg. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/magazine\/2014\/09\/01\/kale-diaries\">My spoof<\/a>, from the New Yorker.<\/p>\n<p>-Also from the New Yorker: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/humor\/daily-shouts\/martha-stewart-explains-drone\">I imagined why Martha Stewart is so enamored of the drone<\/a> she has at her house in Bedford  , NY. (And, then, praise God, Ms. Stewart mentioned that very piece <a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/3053003\/martha-stewart-drone\/\">in her own explanation<\/a> of her amour de drone.)<\/p>\n<p>-I tackled <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/09\/21\/books\/review\/be-polite-with-your-books.html\">the etiquette of books<\/a>&#8211;reading them, suggesting them, rearranging them in stores&#8211;for the New York Times Book Review.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2014\/09\/07\/fashion\/how-to-get-over-that-ex.html\">Is there a decorous way to get over an ex<\/a>?
